Konkani Sabha Picnic Hoon Khabbar:

Thank you all for coming to the Konkani Sabha Picnic at Mercer County Park in New Jersey. It was great weather, perfect for the picnic. The early birds treated themselves to a sumptuous breakfast dished out by the organizing committee families comprising of Idli Chutney and Upma.

We wish to thank Rajesh and Radhika Mallya for their $50.00 contribution towards gifts and prizes. Thank you for all binging authentic Konkani dishes. Special thanks to goes to Reshmi Nayak for Fruit Salad, which we looked forward to since Diwali program, Meera Pai for unique Nendrabaale Plantain Rolls, and Tara Prabhu for Ghara (Jackfruit) Happolu. This is an inspiration for everyone to look for authentic Konkani special appetizer blitz for Diwali function – “Show off your culinary skills”.

Children’s competitions grabbed kids’ attention and energy. The kids got busy playing in the play area while the adults were enjoying Volleyball and Cricket. There was plenty of 'Panchadik' to engage in and make new friends and acquaintances. Bingo game was enjoyed by kids and adults.

Everyone had a great time throughout and the wholehearted participation made the picnic a great success.
